Position: 3 Associate Medical Directors-OBG and Radiation Therapy and Medical Oncology

Are you looking for: •A predictable work schedule? •No night or weekend work, and no on-call duties? •An opportunity to impact the quality of care patients receive? MedSolutions has the job for you. MedSolutions (a medical management company) is seeking two Associate Medical Directors to join its professional multidisciplinary medical management team. In order to skillfully communicate with MedSolutions’ referring physicians and provide value to the clinicians who participate with MSI, each candidate must be fully licensed M.D./D.O. and currently board certified in: •Obstetrics-gynecology (obstetrics and/or maternal-fetal medicine preferred) with recent practice experience and a thorough clinical knowledge of imaging modalities (especially US, MRI and CT) in the management of patients. OR •Radiation therapy with recent practice experience and familiarity with the use of external beam radiation, IMRT, and stereotactic radio-surgery treatments/therapies in the management of patients. OR •Oncology, or Hematology/Oncology, with recent practice experience and familiarity with the use of all forms of non-surgical cancer treatments and chemotherapeutic agents; the use of advanced imaging technologies (such as CTs and PET CTs) in the diagnosis and evaluation of patients with malignancy; broad clinical experience in the management of patients with cancer; and a good grasp of the business of oncology practices. The candidate must be licensed in at least one state, but multiple-state licensure is highly preferred. Some experience with managed care delivery systems and a working knowledge of utilization management, quality improvement and technology assessment activities are preferred but not required. The successful candidate will have communication and problem solving skills. And, all candidates will be able to demonstrate “Basic Computer Literacy” (Windows maneuvers on mousing, editing, navigation, password creation, etc.), and typing speed and accuracy. These are fulltime positions. The OBG may work remotely (at your current location) or onsite (at either the TN or FL location). The Med-Onc may work onsite at either the TN or FL location. MedSolutions prefers the RT role to be based at MSI’s Nashville headquarters. Contact Leslie Thornton at 1-800-359-4791 ext. 25 or by email at leslie@physicianexecutive.com to discuss your interest.
